Costumes

Explore our enormous collection of costumes from many different regions of Italy.  Emma Calderini not only drew all the illustrations, but also researched and wrote a history of the costumes and individual costume descriptions. The book is “Il costume popolare in Italia,” published by Sterling & Kupfer, Milano, in 1952.
